CHAIRMAN OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS - CALL CENTERS ASSOCIATION
Metin Tarakçı graduated from Istanbul University German Language and Literature Department and started his career in 1996 at Koçbank call center. He acted at various positions at the call centers of Turkey’s leading banks such as Egebank and HSBC until 2005. Tarakçı moved to the outsourcing industry in 2005 where he acted as the General Manager of CMC and Callpex Call Centers.
Having managed Callpex’s 2016 acquisition of Webhelp, a major outsourcing service supplier in Europe, he is currently standing as the CEO of Webhelp Turkey under its new name. He has also been acting as the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Call Centers Association for 2 terms since 2013.
With well over 20 years of experience, Metin Tarakçı has been a veteran in the call center industry and managed to complete the Senior Level SPK License Program. He is married with one child.
